LEBANON, IN — The Lebanon Leprechauns will enter the 2027 season as the newest member of The Basketball Super League–commonly referred to as BSL.

The BSL was formed in 2023 by bringing together many former National Basketball League of Canada teams. This group included such teams as the Windsor Express, KW Titans, London Lightning, and current two-time defending BSL champion… the Sudbury Five. Other franchises such as the Newfoundland Rogues and Lake Erie Jackals have since joined the BSL.

The Basketball Super League is recognized as one of the top professional leagues in North America — both Chatgpt and Google list the BSL as the 4th & 5th best men’s professional 5-on-5 league on the continent respectively along side of the NBA, G-League, CEBL (Canada) and LNBP (Mexico).

The Lebanon Leprechauns will enter their sixth season of professional basketball, with the previous five season a member of The Basketball League (TBL). Last season saw the team advance to the Midwest Conference Finals and finish with a franchise best record of 22-8.

Lebanon will begin BSL play in February 2027 with home games played at The Farmers Bank Fieldhouse in Lebanon, Indiana. The Leprechauns are currently the only professional sports team in Boone County, Indiana.
