Nate Rigmaiden
Point Guard – GoTime Green Machine

Nate Rigmaiden, a point guard for the GoTime Green Machine, is a proud native of St. Louis, Missouri. He comes from what he describes as “the most supportive family you will ever meet”—a fun-loving, tight-knit group that is always there when it matters most. Their unwavering encouragement and laughter-filled presence have been foundational in Nate’s journey.

Nate fell in love with basketball at a young age and credits the sport with shaping him into a better person. Growing up, he admired LeBron James and was also active in baseball. He went on to play collegiately at Harris-Stowe State University before taking his talents overseas to Spain. Upon returning to the U.S., he continued his professional career with the Potawatomi Fire (TBL) and spent the last three years with the St. Louis Griffins (TBL).

To Nate, the TBL is more than just a league—it’s a lifeline. It brought him back home to Missouri, gave him the chance to be close to his daughter, and allowed him to build a career doing what he loves. His motivation on and off the court stems from his family and, most of all, his daughter. His dream has always been to provide for his loved ones and give back in a meaningful way.

In addition to his professional playing career, Nate serves as a long-term substitute teacher at an elementary school and as an assistant coach for high school varsity basketball. He also works as a basketball trainer for athletes of all ages. Passionate about mentorship, he is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of young people.

Nate lives by the motto: “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.”
His advice: “Keep pushing—there will be a lot of ups and downs, no matter how much success you have. Keep striving for what you want and never give up.”

His ultimate goal is to reach the highest level possible and give back to the people who have always believed in him.
